The course will be held IN PERSON at the Schauck Auditorium at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster MD. Classes will be 7p-9:30p (Eastern Standard Time and the last 30min are for Q&A). The classes are held on Wednesdays (2/4/26, 2/11/26, 2/18/26, & 2/25/26, 3/4/26 & 3/11/26). Additionally, there will also be an in-person field day on 3/14/26 at Mission Beelieve in Taneytown MD.

$50 Current CCBA members who paid 2025 dues

The cost of the course includes a copy of the textbook which retails for $25 http://extension.psu.edu/beekeeping-basics as well as 2026 CCBA member dues.Following the class, mentors will be assigned to Carroll County residents only due to geographical limitations with our volunteers. Participants outside of Carroll County are encouraged to contact their local bee club for an area mentor. There are no refunds available once the course begins. Any refund requests must be received in writing and will be subject to deductions for costs incurred with payment processing.
